- Creating a new document management artboard with multiple pages
- Customizing the user workspace, interface, palettes, shortcut and preferences
- Color modes and ICC color profiles (RGB, CMYK)
The functionality of Adobe Illustrator
- Create brushes, borders, symbols, gradients and patterns
- Using layers and clipping masks
- Create effects, transparency and styles with the appearance palette
- Creation and use of graphic styles, vector effects, 3D and bitmap filters
- Use advanced vector drawing tools
- Use surfacing tools, gradients, gradients meshes and livepaint
- Use of transforms and operations using the Pathfinder
- Convert bitmap images into vector with Livetrace
Preparing to print and save for web
- Inks management, spot colors, mixed inks, treatments and overlays
- Image formats for print (TIFF, EPS, PDF)
- Image formats for the Web (jpg, gif, png) and the cutout tool (Slices)
- Image formats for other software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint Indesign)
